Ok, this is still early stages. My project is making a company (me) which will do web design etc….It’s called Blackrainbow. Here are some logos i’ve been playing with:

Type Tester

“What is Typetester?
The Typetester is an online application for comparison of the fonts for the screen. Its’ primary role is to make web designer’s life easier. As the new fonts are bundled into operating systems, the list of the common fonts will be updated.”

I stumbled apon this and not sure if I would ever use it, however maybe some here would find it useful.

What is Postcrossing?
“It’s a project that allows anyone to receive postcards (paper ones, not electronic) from random places in the world.“

The way it works is, you first have to sign up and give your address and other details. Once signed up, you click “Send Postcard” you then get a random address of someone else thats signed up to the site in which you send them a postcard.

Each user has a profile for hints of what to say on the postcard i.e. there name or interests.

You are given a little code to put on the card, this allows the person who got your postcard to say they have got it, and the postcrossing will be complete. The important thing about the code is when someone else clicks “Send postcard” it will give the address of the last received card i.e. yours.

I found this interesting way to meet new people, as well as get post cards of the culture from any country around the world. I’ve got some from USA, Russia, Latvia, Canada and Slovenia. Also I have a lot of postcards doing nothing in my room, found a way to use some url: http://www.postcrossing.com/
