In fairness thats actually the space-time shift as you change dimensions into chav land! Have you not noticed when your coming from London everything seems fine up until about whitstable and then suddenly everyone on the train is drunk, wearing tracksuit pants, pushing a pram and afraid to look anyone else in the eye?

God, don’t remind me. I spent a couple of weeks commuting to and from London several years back, the journey back was hideous if stuck next to people going back to Thanet. On one particular day I was stuck next to a pair of idiots impressing each other with their various mobile phone ringtones – all 80 of them. Two and a half hours of that, unable to change carriage due to them being packed. I wasn’t as mouthy back then as I am now though, so I didn’t ask them to stop. Why do we suffer it, eh?
