Pfizers commission
November 28, 2006
Last year I got commissioned by Pfizers (through uni) to take some photographs of around Thanet to be displayed at the Pfizers site. Last week I finally got an email to say that they had got round to having them printed and framed. So today I went to Pfizers to take a look at my work on display. And I must admit, as soon as I saw them on the walls over two corridors, I couldnt help but grin
it was amazing to see my photos being displayed by such a massive company.
I wasnt allowed to take any photographs of my pics on the wall with my own camera (although i managed to get passed security and into the site for half an hour with a big SLR before anyone realised i had a camera with me haha.. i mangaed to breach security in one of the biggest security conscious places ever hehe) however the woman I was meeting allowed me to take some sneaky pics on her camera, which she will send to me and when i get them will post on here.
The pics have aroused quite alot of interest, they said and that they are running a competition to see who can identify all of the places before they put the titles up. I need to write a bio for them, no idea what to put though, so any suggestions would be great. They also said that some a few people had asked if they can buy copies of some of the photos which is awesome so not only are they being displayed, but I might make some more money from it!! Yay
Here are a few of the pics that I took. They are displaying 16 in total :
