Will it Blend?

Here’s a fantastic bit of marketing by a company called BlendTec – www.willitblend.com – showing off the ability of their products in quite a funny way by attempting to blend some pretty strange things. There are currently 5 videos out there – Blending marbles, coke & chicken, ice, making a smoothie out of a McDonald’s extra value meal, and this one, blending a rake handle. The question is… will it blend?

Director Help

OK kids, I’m having a spot of bother with this Director, maybe I just being stoopid and someone knows the answer.

If the background colour of my stage is say red and I want to put a white shape/object on that stage as a cast member, how does that work?

I tried making the background in the paint window red with mywhite shape on top, but when I put it on the stage it puts all the red on the stage too and when I make it transparent to show other stuff on my stage it just makes my white shape transparent which is pants cos thats the only bit I want and its the only bit I cant have!

Its a bit tricky making a white shape in the paint window on a white background as you cant see it.

Also… Anyone know if its possible to take a shape into Director and make it a vector shape so you can enlarge it and keep the nice straight edges?  I’m not talking about a box, but a little star where each point is a different length, so its tricky to draw properly and still make it look like the company logo.
